Ravens and 2x Pro Bowl WR Zay Flowers agreed to a 4-year, $140M extension... $108M guaranteed.

Hmmm....Flowers was taken one pick before Jordan Addison in the 2023 draft. I was kinda hoping we could get a clean year from JA before extending him, but I guess we're at that time with him now too.

Flowers signed his 5th year option April 26th of this year. Addison signed his on April 27th.

Flowers is the Ravens WR1 so maybe they felt more comfortable with the number.

But I agree, if Addison is looking at $140M the team is going to be looking at all options. I don't want to see it because I think Addison's best football is ahead of him, but I wouldn't be THAT shocked if Addison is traded like, very soon. If the team believes in Felton and if Jennings is meshing, the Vikings might feel like they can afford to do it if a team is willing to pony up.

Yeah, I’m talking about us.  He’d still be our number 2 WR.  I think Addison while lower on the yards than Flowers, dominates him on the TDs.  He’ll probably be paid very close to a number one if not as a one if he has something similar to his first 2 seasons.  We’re going to be very cap heavy on the offense if we’ve got 3 OL making $20+M a year, 2 WRs making $30M+ a year, and then need to pay a QB.
