The Meaning Of Mr Mankato
Defining Mr Mankato before voting for Mr Mankato.
Kryies Herbert option OR the late draft pick or UDFA who has a chance to stick?
Sorry, poll questions didn’t attach.

Its early and its easy to call Chuck as leading the pack for now...I wanna see him vs other teams and Ravens scrimmage too.
1). Chuck
2). Felton (eligible?)
3). Banks
4). Bredson or Golday?

The Demmings hype is different from the typical Mr. Mankato standouts. It is consistent every day, it comes from all sources and it is often from his play against the best WR on the planet. The way various sources have talked about him have been in complete awe.
There has been talk about him taking that 4th CB spot, however our CBs are not that strong and if he continues to play at this level I could see him potentially taking the spot away from Rodgers who is not that great of a cover CB. We have been really needing to hit on some later secondary picks, hoping Demmings and Thomas are those picks this year.

Not going to argue that this feels different. As mentioned elsewhere, he is no longer flashing, but performing at a high level.
But it does need to translate to game day.
A fifth round pick not only making the roster, but replacing an established starter?
Yeah, so far, Chucky D would be my pick by a landslide.
Let's see if he can keep it up...training camp is not a five day sprint. More to see.
Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.

Whst happened to that UDFA reciever, I think his name was Bell? Was the darling of OTA's.
They put on pads. Also Tai Felton has become a beast. We should have 5 really good receivers.
Gavin Bartholomew, a 6th round pick in 2025, deserves at least an honorable mention.

It’s one thing to flash against 2nd 3rd teamers, it’s another when he’s holding his own and flashing against JJ. With a QB battle at the very least is providing more competitive reps for the defense.
Some of the awe is from his personality but he is used to playing aggressive press defense and has the athleticism that is translating from his RAS score to the football field. He appears to be the real deal. Heck of a find in the 5th.
I'm excited about Demmings. I think the challenge for Demmings will be the full contact practices. His scouting profile says that tackling and playing the run, while not a big problem for him, isn't the strongest part of his game. I remember Flores benching Akayleb Evans once because he struggled with that.

Has anyone heard from Big Citrus?
I've been loving all the reports about Banks, Golday, Demmings, etc flashing. Wondering about our other new DT.

I think he's been a bit dinged as of late?
Nothing serious reported...

Demmings is 6'1 and 193, 23 years old, will hopefully put on some muscle mass after more time in an NFL weight room
I want to see how he holds up in PS games and especially that Ravens Scrimmage in a few weeks.

Yeah, he has been silent. As mentioned above, they put on pads. But also, wasn't part of his issues unrefined routes? Probably needs some seasoning.

I think that and a little Tai Felton coming on strong sprinkled in there as well.
I REALLY hope what we are seeing with Felton is going to translate on the field in regular season.
Chuck is getting all the deserved ink right now, but imagine the options the team has if Tai pans out big?
Hell, the 1 hand catch in the end-zone was OBJ'esque.

It would be super nice if we did not have to pay Addison. Felton will play a big role with that.

Tai Felton is looking like a slightly bigger Jordan Addison. He has performed extremely well with the pads on. If so it takes a lot of pressure off of needing to resign Addison. I got an Addison Jersey cheap for my son 2 years ago, he still fits in it - but even still unless something happens injury ect, the odds we resign Addison seem slim. Felton is creating separation and making acrobatic catches. The 2 positions I was questioning about depth WR and CB seem to be plenty loaded so far. You have Felton seeming to solidfying the #4 WR. So then Price, Jones and Dillon fighting out for the #5 slot with Price currently in the lead by my estimation.
