Not a great day for either QB in a shorter practice in shells. Still a month until Week 1 and the defense is very good, but it’s at least slightly concerning that neither guy has been able to stack high-level performances.

Safeties have to wear #49 or lower. LB's have a bigger range to pick from. Switching from 54 to 32 let's him check in at either position.

I'm not sure why it matters since Flores likes to play what he calls positionless defense, but that's the explanation I heard for the # switch.
