Probably just a rehearsed statement about how he's not going to be a distraction to the team and he's going to keep working on becoming the best player he can be, and Minnesota is the team that is best suited for helping him be the best player he can be.

I'm ok with it if McCarthy is...I think he'd like to have his words heard by the fanbase and (maybe) even talk about team, camaraderie etc...Not sure he'll take questions.
