I’m trying to figure it out too. Downside on Chambliss is he’s sub 6’ and already 25.

I am no expert by any means, but he sure is reminiscent of Russ Wilson to me.

And that was b4 I read it in the media.

  • Strengths: Exceptional off-script creator and instinctive playmaker who excels when plays break down. Possesses a quick release, high-level arm audacity into tight windows, and explosive rushing upside.

  • Weaknesses: Height leads to occasional batted passes at the line of scrimmage, and he can be overly reliant on velocity rather than touch on intermediate/finesse throws.

  • Comparisons: Frequently compared in media circles to a mix of Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray.

  • Draft Projection: First-Round (Risers climbing into early Day 1 / Top-32

I was all for going Defense-heavy in last year's draft and I'd love to say run that strategy back in 2027, but I don't think we'll have that luxury.

QB, RB, WR, TE are all major needs as of this moment so even if two of these get solved before draft day, you still need 2 of the first 3 picks to be on offense I think. And that's if you don't spend some by trading up. Lots can change but the offense needs to get cheaper and younger so I think that almost has to be the focus.

We could already have 4 fifths along with 2 thirds. Plenty of bargaining chips.

Really like this rep. Especially getting his feet reset in a blink of an eye.

I've mentioned Lindsay before and me likey. JMO, but he's the kind of kid that GMs will have higher on their Draft boards than the media 'experts'.

It’s going to be awhile, but Jeremiah usually has the best access to what the pros are thinking. His rankings will be quite telling.

Lets see how he does playing for the Brown Jug this weekend...I have 0 doubt KOC and staff have spent time with him and PJ too..They definitely have an inside track.

At the moment my preference would be Mensah, Manning still looks like a Bobby Douglas / Greg Landry hybrid.

I can relate to that comp.

The knock on Mensah is that every thing is thrown with minimal velocity. Haven’t seen much of him yet.

The real big data on this is GB currently slated to turn over the #8 pick overall to Big D.

Good!

I saw him locking on to first read maybe more than I'd like, but he is making lots of different throws - and accurately too.
