I think some believe its fools gold, we have seen our starting QB, we know that the O is going to have to start to contribute, but we dont see the path to that yet.

And its the most beautiful time of year up here so we are outside enjoying life, or to busy getting ready for winter.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I feel like you're asking the football gods for a loss so that our win loss record better matches our moods.

If the team loses, this is on you!

But also Mommy and Daddy just kicked our older brother out of the house, dinners going to be a little bit awkward. I might just go eat dinner in my room if that's OK.

Maybe a few reasons?

  • No JJ this week, even if it's a weak Miami team, he's a big draw and excitement each week

  • We are talking about the Vikings, right? When has being overly positive and overly excited ever been a benefit? 😜

  • The air was also let out of the balloon a bit, despite where you stood with our QB situation, so...

What I am excited about is what Teasley said re the trade and how the 5th rounder is going to bring in an asset, maybe even this year! I cannot wait!

Well this was never much of a game day fan board. It’s much more of an off-season, GM-wannabe, here’s-my-plan-fire-anyone-who-disagrees board.

Also, one of us may have taken a delicious vanilla bean ice cream, covered with a candy caramel hard shell coating, finished with a light sprinkle of sea salt and spilled it on his laptop keyboard the other day and is mostly non-communicative on his phone.

Pregame suggestion: Watch the Commanders D as a preview. Daronte Jones has the Colts at -1 yards for the quarter.

All of the above + it's Miami...

Not exactly going to elicit the same energy as Lions, Bills or Bears...

I dont think too many are buying into this team as a post-season juggernaut yet. I'm not.

Hope it was damn good ice cream...

We’re obviously not there now. We may not even be there in a month, but I think if we’re patient and prudent, we can be there down the stretch.

I am excited about this defense. They’re amazing! As for offense, I’m more in prayer mode 😂

Since we’re now playing late ‘60’s early ‘70’s football, I guess we’ve got energy for the same…!? :confused_purp:

Yeah, what a game: Jones has turned it over twice, Mariota got his leg rolled up, and it looks like the eventual score might resemble our win over Chicago.

WOW, KOC really must prefer retread QBs.

100 correct. September is for show, December is for dough. Enjoying us winning, like I said last week you couldn't have asked for a better start with 2 division wins and a road win against a tough nosed Bucs team.

If the offense starts clicking as we get closer to November, I think we'll all start getting excited. Just hoping Murray stays healthy and gets more comfortable. Wish we had a stud RB right now to help the team along. KOC keeps lamenting the fact that we aren't getting explosives in the run game but that's a direct product of us not really doing much to improve the position the past two seasons.

Hopefully Teasely is eyeing the Chargers and Commanders who have a lot of RB depth and may be willing to part with a guy. Vidal or Keaton Mitchell would provide some pop to this backfield and are good receivers.

I hear pollard could be available for trade

I think once Murray starts playing he has throughout his career you'll see more excitement. Keep in mind he has the same career passer rating as Matthew Stafford and a HIGHER comp percentage. He has been a good player with a trash organization.

Maybe for a 5th?

Edit: Maybe less as he’s in the last year of his deal at about $7 million.

He's too much like Aaron Jones, I don't think we need another older RB. We need some youth, juice, and power.

Member when we had a competent offense? Pepperidge farms can’t anymore either. It’s been that long.

This board is a New Years Eve nightclub compared to our lifeless offense right now. Maybe it’ll be better in the second half … ?

Because I think we are witnessing the worst offensive leadership ever. I promise you, this team isn’t behind it. This offense is awful.
