No way he plays half a year. He’s either in or out.
As many have gathered, he might want to see what kind of team the Vikings have before committing to another season. He doesn't want to be the guy who retired the year before a championship season. And I doubt he wants to come back at all just for a losing season. If he wants to wait until mid-year, so be it. One thing though, whatever mysterious ailment that afflicted him early last season took weeks to recover from and get back into game shape.
