WHATS UP EVERYONE!!!
Just thought I would check in. I hope everyone is doing well!
Hey Pops! Talk about a blast from the past! Good to hear from you. Would like to hear from you more often. How's it going with you & the family? Good, I hope. 😊
LIVE WELL ~ LOVE MUCH ~ LAUGH OFTEN
It's really good to hear from you. How's the family doing? Come around more often and enjoy the forum, especially now with training camp going.
Hey pops, been wondering how you were doing. So good to hear from you. Don't be a stranger.
Still got a couple pics of BRob in my office.
Dunno thing, was chatting with some people about how football used to be and big hits on the QB. I used the term Bomar'd and then had to find the video.
Hey Pops, don't be a stranger. You have been missed!
Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.
Everyone is doing well. Brian just went back to college and got his degree from Texas. I don’t know if he’s actually going to coach or not. The last 2 years he coached Parker’s football team and the first year they won the Super Bowl. It was unfair. lol.
He and Parker were just up there for about a month on their regular annual fishing trip.
My daughter moved to Louisiana. So I’m on the road quite a bit running back and forth to see the grandkids. I’ll try to stop in more often and catch up. Good to speak to you all. Take care.
Oh, forgot to brag a little on the grandkids. Brian’s daughter has become quite a barrel racer like her mom and is a hoss on the school track team. While his son is a pretty good football player and athlete.
My daughter’s son has become quite good at the baseball and is itching to get on the football field. Her 2 year old daughter is quite a little girl. She is very smart and already knows her colors and can count to 10. When you can get her to stop. Anyway, that’s why I haven’t been around for quite a while. Running with the grandkids!!
Hey Pops! Hope you and BRob are doing well! Hookem

So his daughter is a "can chaser" (cowboy slang for barrel racers). I remember hearing some braggin' about her Mom doing same.
Grandkids are great. If I knew how great they really were, I'd have had them first!!

Indeed. If it only worked that way. But I still have kids at home. My 10 year old started football this year. I am helping coach when I can. He is kind of a gentle giant, big kid but way too nice. Will have to find that switch for on the field, he got rocked for the first time yesterday during the oklahoma drill. Got past his blocker quickly and met the RB in the backfield, but didn't get low and got trucked.
Hopefully it is a learning opportunity.
