IMO not as important as we’re making it seem. Either way you have it, QB2 will likely be called on at some point this season (whether it’s due to injury or QB1 struggles)

Need them both ready to step in and win games. That being said, if it’s Kyler- end the competition as soon as possible and get him ample reps to get him the best chance to win games for this team as possible.

Defense is a WAGON. Make sure offense can put up points and mitigate turnovers.

Vikings just wrapped another padded practice. Not a very riveting one, to be honest. Lot of special teams work early on and run game focus.

I know nothing about this Warren dude and what his biases might be, but it seems to be a common belief that McCarthy may have played a bit better than Murray today.

Nothing wrong with that! It's not likely JJ's going to be QB1—I can't imagine choosing an unproven guy over a proven guy, and I can't imagine not wanting to see what Murray can do in this offense—BUT the better JJ plays the better for the Mighty Fightin' Minnesota Vikings. We want both to look good. There's a decent chance QB2 will play at some point this year. If JJ gets in and he lights things up, that is going to give the front office something to chew on for 2027.
