One week at a time, that's how to enjoy the NFL season IMO. Didn't have QB1 out for the first two weeks and 2-0 on my bingo card. That's why they play the games. With the first loss, expect to see some long lost posters return to bag on - insert a favorite whipping boy here -....😉

So many coaches are spoiled they never have to even play their back ups, that’s all O’Connell has done basically since he’s been at the head coach of the Vikings:

Ben Johnson has never started a backup QB as a head coach or offensive coordinator.

Jared Goff started all 51 games in the 3 seasons Johnson was the Lions OC (2022-24).

Caleb Williams has started all 19 games since Johnson became the Bears HC in 2025.
