Man. Kyler Murray dealing all the sudden. Great throw in a window to Jordan Addison, then connects with T.J. Hockenson, who has had a helluva afternoon.

All about rhythm. Kyler Murray is in a current streak of 11 straight completions. Some dinks, but some darts and critical 3rd down conversion. Don't get too excited, but a glimmer.

Why didnβt TJ score? Would t that have made it a two TD game or TD plus 2 points plus FG?
My only thought was he was not aware of where he was

One of the knocks on K1 in recent seasons was that he leaned hard on his TEs when he was "improvising" and running for his life. I'll certainly take a W over stats any old time, but the team needs to build on this little bit of offensive rhythm....
WOW, KOC really must prefer retread QBs.
So smart by TJ Hockenson to avoid the TD - selfless!

Observation #1 in MIN win over MIA β Kyler Murray. Stood taller today late. 15 straight completions to end the game, calmer, used his mobility and spread the ball around (8 receivers vs 4 or 5 the first 3 games)

Observation #2 in MIN win over MIA - Everyone can see Dallas Turner's pass rushing capability, but donβt discount his speed to get downfield to make tackle on a pass play (saved a 1st down when Byron Murphy whiffed.

Observation #3 in MIN win over MIA - Blake Cashman might just be the key cog in the defense. He is a very sure tackler, is smart and anticipates where the ball is going. Thatβs why he was there to recover the Willis fumble.

Observation #4 in MIN win over MIA - The Viking run game is very dull and they literally seem to have just 2 or 3 run plays that they run over and over. Last week, they ran a sweep with linemen out front. It worked, so for KOC, that means we use it next time, next year.

Observation #5 in MIN win over MIA - Jauan Jennings appears to be a pricey whiff for a FA signing. He has few catches; he is never even targeted. That usually means a guy canβt get open. Make a call to Tyrek Hill quickly before someone else does.

Hockey stopped short so Murray just needs to take a knee and run out the clock.
Observation #6 in MIN win over MIA - TJ Hockensen shows he can get open and the problem has been finding a QB to get the ball to him. 13 Big catches and bodied guys out like a basketball defender. It looks like Kyler has a new favorite safety valve receiver.

Seeing how it ended I think it was the right move. Saves needed plays and attrition. Take the W and move on.
There is a reason I am a fan not a player or coach
